Valentines Day Lunch at Fromage Brasserie

On Valentines Day, my husband and I went on a cute little lunch date at Fromage Brasserie in Market Place and it was such a lovely afternoon. The restaurant provides both outdoor and indoor dining options. We opted to sit on the outside because we wanted to enjoy the nice breeze that was blowing.

The ambiance was nice as they had soft music playing in the background and the tables were simply decorated with fresh flowers, which I found to be a nice touch.

For our appetizer, we ordered the fried calamari, which sadly looked a lot better than it tasted. I love calamari but I do think that it needed just a little more flavouring. For our entree, my husband ordered steak and fries which was really good; and I got the chicken and waffles which was amazing! The chicken was tender and crispy, and the corn waffle was also really delicious with the warm maple syrup. It was an afternoon well spent.

Being a lover of flowy maxi skirts, I decided to wear this skirt that I wore in a previous outfit post. I absolutely love the look as it is perfect for any outdoor afternoon event. I paired the skirt with a simple crop top and used my long fringe yellow earrings to pull the look together. Accessories are sometimes the perfect way to tie an outfit together, especially when the colours of the outfit don’t initially appear to go together.

I hope you all had an amazing day. Talk to you soon…Bye!
